In reality (if memory serves), it was 1993 or so, give or take a couple of years -- but it FEELS like yesterday. ;)

100s of GB? ... man, those sizes are ridiculous small for a real and serious OLTP database. Oh wait, you were talking about MySQL, ok then :).</description>
