		<description>Most small-to-medium sized companies these days do not host their own web servers; they pay someone to worry about redundant Internet connections, air conditioning, uninterrupted power, and so on.  Similarly, some DBMS&#039;s, especially if they are big and complex, require some care and feeding, so if you&#039;re small-to-medium and need that kind of DBMS, it might make a lot of sense to outsource it.  The purchase price of the DBMS, even if it&#039;s free, is only part of the total cost of ownership.</description>
