All four of them are in California. Hmm. (I'm always looking around for job openings for my friends, in the Boston area...)

Jerome,

Good point. I didn't make any attempt to check whether the pages were up to date.

As for Exasol -- it's been a while since I've heard about them on anything other than a "Whatever happened to ... ?" basis.

It's pretty interesting actually -- exasol has the worst career space, IMHO -- they're had "intern(m/f) on there for as long as I can remember and that's that.

ParAccel is looking for a Director of Engineering Database Query Execution. That sounds like a serious hole they need to plug...Also senior database internals engineers...don't sound good :)

Vertica has had the same positions for over a year if I'm not mistaken. Hard to imagine they couldnt fill them in this market -- I have to assume they just dont refresh their careers section too often :)

Aster Data is absolutely hiring! We're looking for exceptional developers to join our core engineering team, field engineers to help deliver solutions based on our nCluster platform to our growing list of customers, sales engineers and inside sales reps to expand our sales team, and more! And with $17 million recently raised in our oversubscribed Series B financing, unlike other companies, we're definitely not doing layoffs.

Heh, that's funny. I always make it a point to check the careers sections of all the players on your TDWI list on a weekly basis as I believe this yields interesting information such as what technology they use (or what problems they may be attacking) or how their business is doing. It's also interesting to see how they respond to potential applicants. Tells me a lot about the place :)
