Tutal, thank you for the nice comment.

I have not been a Dataupia employee since May '09. I gave Dataupia permission to keep my profile on their website for some time. I am now the CTO of Connect: Knowledge Network and will continue to be very involved in our industry and TDWI.

I'm still listed on the website of one company whose board I resigned from in 2001. It happens.

Samantha, you're not at Dataupia? Well in that case I'm puzzled ...

Take a look at http://www.dataupia.com/management.php

Seems like the whole management team with the exception of the new CEO guy are all still around.

What about John Brien? Is he still there? I loved his presentations at TDWI.

While I am no longer with Dataupia, I have spoken to Foster and he gave me permission to share a quick update. Dataupia is, and always has been, in operation. Foster is in fact the current CEO and he tells me there is new investment in the company. You'll have to contact him directly to confirm details, but I expect you'll be seeing formal news from Dataupia in the coming weeks.

They seem to be back in business. Well, they at least answered the
phone and told me that the ex-CEO, Foster Hinshaw, bought the company back.

I am slightly confused, does anyone have any updated information?

Paul,
I'm blushing. Our challenges at Dataupia were not for lack of a great team. I thank you for being a part of it.

Maybe next time we dine out it should be over champagne and chocolate. :)
